Not sure if I'd call Floyd Cummings a tomato can.. He seems like a guy who was just too heavily matched too early in his career, and actually gave some of the best guys he faced a decent match... The fight with Frank Bruno was an absolute war that Floyd nearly won, when Frank was saved by the bell.. McNeely had a pretty looking record for a while, but with little substance and fell short against anyone he faced who even remotely resembled a decent fighter including Butterbean.. I'm going with cummings.

Jumbo. McNeeley has the edge in speed and maybe stamina, and that's it. Jumbo could box a fair bit, punched hard, and had a better chin. He gave a young Frank Bruno all he could handle and beat a shot Frazier who was still probably better than McNeeley. McNeeley never beat a live body, including Butterbean. I mean, wasn't his best win against Ron Drinkwater? An old, retired former middleweight contender?

Jumbo wins by KO and probably early.

He was never a legit contender, but he was no tomato can-
