I've bought the simple five dollar jump ropes for the last... I dont know, since I've been boxing, so five years... Mine seem to break about every several months and Im sick of having to get a new one. My trainer said there are really good ones for fifty dollars. Does anyone know where I can get one of those? Any other suggestions would be appreciated also.

The best ropes are buddy lee jump ropes.
I sell them in the UK for approximately $40 each.
These are for the 'aero speed' ropes.
There is a slightly cheaper rope which i sell for about $28.
This is the 'rope master' which is used for tricks as well.
Both are awesome ropes, i use both for boxing. I sell mine with an extra cord as well. You can cut the cord and screw it into handles, so you don't need to tie knots in the rope to shorten it. Go to buddyleejumpropes.com.
As long as you don't use the rope outside in cold weather, it will be fine.

I ship worldwide, but it might be cheaper if you got them from the US site.

    Good luck

Thanks bro. My trainer has one that looks just like that aero apeed one. It really is probably the nicest rope I've used.
