I don't know what's the best gameplan against Golovkin.

You can't swarm him because he punches too hard for that. You can't box and move because he will just cut the ring off. And you can't load up on power shots because he has an iron chin.

 

How does he have a confirmed glass jaw? Have you seen how Pirog set up his KO shot on Jacobs? Golovkin wouldn't think of that. His chin must be a little susceptible at times because he fancies his chances in an exchange over his opponent because of his power advantage.

 

Golovkin's defense sucks. Guys who aren't afraid to throw punches, land repeatedly. Check the Rosado fight, Brook, Monroe, Wade even landed some shots. Jacobs is going to leave the Good Boy wishing he had of taken Canelo's 10 mil offer.

 

He was floored by Sergio Mora for god sake. Pirog started it and Mora gave us the confirmation.

 

I like Jacobs, but I think his chin will fail him. I'm not big on GGG because I think he's still unproven, although it's not his fault.

Jacobs best bet is to try and dust him within 30-60 seconds.

You cannot give Golovkin any room as he is a phenomenal stalker. Once you start backing up, you're toast.

Jacobs has clearly seen how easy it was for Kell to land on him, packs way more power than Kell, and might just fact his chances. But he has to do it early, though.

I think what everyone wants to see is GGG in a genuine fight and what I mean about that is in most of his recent fights one gets the feeling he's carrying the fight for the drama show and it seems like when he wants to he can end it whenever,now I don't care what folk say about his opponents in the middleweight division he's fought anyone who'd step up and to be able to finish em all at a whim is mighty impressive.
Can Jacobs give GGG a genuine fight where Golovkin doesn't have to think of impressing the fans is what I wanna see and I suspect I speak for many here?
