I've seen Jacobs get hurt by Pirog, Mora and Ishe Smith (5th round). I've never seen GGG hurt.

That said, Jacobs can KO any middleweight including GGG.

5/1 in favor of GGG sounds about right

GGG isn't dumb. He respects this opponent and will show his skills are not as bad as what they looked like against the welterweight Kell Brooks. He promised a drama show and we got one.

He took the big hits from Brook because, as he said in the post fight interview "He is not middleweight, is not big puncher" He played the game so well that BJS went straight to the work and called him out! lol Id say GGGs tactics worked a treat wouldn't you??

We'll see. It looks like most people are counting Jacobs out. I can't wait to see if Golovkin can take his power to the head and body.

Good chin with good power vs weak chin with good power.
Pretty easy to call it seems.

Rosado, Brook, Monroe and Wade did not have the power to worry him... so he was happy to trade knowing the KO would come. Lemeauix and Stevens who both hit like mules couldn't land on him so he countered and jabbed them to death.

Jacobs saw the Lee was able to rock Quillin and knew it was his very best chance to beat him. IOW.....khtfo before he could get warmed up.
Plan worked to perfection and gave Jacobs the single best win among active MWs, including GGGs wins over Lemiuex, Brook and Murray, and Yellers wins over Trout and Cotto and Kirkland.

That said, it was a wise plan exploiting Quillins exposed weakness of being a slow starter (Rosado, Guerrero, Lee) and his glass jaw by Lee and Rosado.
However, GGG being this face forward easily hittable fighter is really only something we see when he's taunting another fighter...although, it appeared to me that Brook was hitting the mark moreso than GGG was taunting him to do so. LMAO

VS Jacobs he will fight more measured, go to body more and keep Jacobs on the backfoot and look to counter anytime Jacobs tries throwing a meaningful jab.

Gonna need to be perfect and flawless execution by DJ to prevent a complete execution by GGG.

Coming from the guy who had Chilemba up 5-1 on Kovalev. Had Ward easily beating Kovalev and thinks Usyk is overrated. Now he is crusading against GGG.

Everyone has a plan until they get hit in the face.

And GGG usually puts them on ***** Street the first time he really tags them, as they seem shocked by what power he actually has.

Brook seemed like one of the few to stay within his game plan despite getting hurt early and ultimately broken.

If Jacobs comes out pressing the action he's gonna leave that jaw out there to get tested right away. I don't like his chances passing that test too many times.

It's probably his best chance in my book, jump in hard and early and hope for something big. Best to roll the dice cos the way I see it the longer it goes the worse Danny's chances are. Golovkin's MO is usually to have a couple of feeling out rounds and then gradually start ratcheting up the pressure, and I don't think Jacobs will handle that well, I'm guessing he starts to break down mid rounds. Throwing it all in early gives him his best shot even though it'll likely mean he doesn't last as long if GGG weathers the storm.
