I do it 20 minutes for long distance and I do 10 minutes high intensity intervals. 30 minutes total.

    LOL!

Could it be that we have an honest and self-deprecating ESB poster in here?

I was expecting someone to claim that they jump rope for 60 minutes at 240 rpm everyday.

10 minutes usually, sometimes 5. I prefer to shadowbox as a warm up.

I do 15-20 minutes. Depends how motivated I feel as I´m not really training I just keep working out because I like it and I want to look good.

 It wont help your face and it doesn't help mine either  I meant I keep working out even though I'm not really training for a sport because of health reasons and to have a better looking body.

    On a training day, (15 mins continuous skipping + 1.5 hours training) X 2.
On a rest day, 30 mins run + 20-30 mins continuous skipping.

I try to incorporate some high-intensity stuff into skipping. But, I haven't been disciplined enough to time or plan those bits.

So you train for 3 hours?

That's a lot... or is that normal?

Yep. To be honest - it was a bit much for me. I didn't feel tired, but my Achilles tendon gave way (c.f. earlier thread) and so did an exterior tendon on my wrist. I'm resting now, and I'll work my way back up more slowly this time.

Working out for that long each day is going to make you slow and weak. Aim for some quality and forget quantity.
