He's pretty tough - has only been stopped by big punchers and hasn't been stopped for quite some time. Can see him lasting the distance, but he has virtually no chance of winning.
lynes was on the tv and papers saying that hes been sparring loads of rounds with mccloskey and hes better than when he fought him that might be a bit of top spin on lynes' part for the journo's but mccloskey is sitting down on his shots a bit more and is physically stronger it appears so much depends on lauris approach, if he comes to fight paul will counter punch him into a stoppage around 9, but if he comes to go 12 hes got the nous to probably do so Watch out for Carl Frampton! he's a regular poster on the irish thread and is a top guy in the ring though it appears hes a spiteful punching cott-esq (calm down) fighter hes gona be a world champ!
You seem to be forgetting that Gianluca Branco lasted the distance with the fearsome puncher 'Magic' Matt Hatton!
Paul will stop him i think on accumulation of accurate shots. Lauri loves taking a beating on these shores. I see this fight going same way as Lauri's fight with Witter but ending later as Paul will need bit more time to break him down.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJu179JMQsk[/ame] Witter and McCloskey both awkward and southpaw fighters (although Junior was most effective when orthodox) who like to bring shots out of the eyeline. I know this was from a while back but certain fighters can't handle certain styles and i have feeling Lauri won't be able to deal with Paul. But i think he will display a bit more of himself then against Junior. Junior was at peak of his powers back then.
