    I'm not saying Spinks had no fear, but I do think he tried to win. As you see, when he got up from the first KD, he did try to fight back, so he went out on his shield. He probably should've tied Tyson up or got on his bicycle.

    The Joe Louis fight was J.H. Lewis' last fight. "This would turn out to be Lewis' last fight, even through he didn't know it at the time. His next fight would have been a rematch with Len Harvey in London, but Lewis did not pass the medical tests before the fight, and the fight was cancelled, so in June of that year, he announced his retirement."

    J.H. Lewis was the only A/A that Louis defended against in his pre-WW2 title reign I believe.

    Shame on you Mac, you have forecast a Marciano opponent to lose!
    You know how Bummy and a couple of others always found a way for anyone on Rockys resume to win these matches.

    Bummy hasn't been on for months....hope he is ok.
