Jung Koo Chang TKO9 Katsuo Tokashiki (Great fight)

Chang is one of the most exciting fighters ever.

His fights with Tokashiki(mentioned by the OP) Kittkasem, Ohashi II,Torres I & III,Montiel II,I.Perez were all tremendous wars.

Its a shame that a fight between Chang and Woo never happened.

That had the potential to be one of the best fights ever.

 

He has some power. Chang was no puncher, but no feather fist either (check the early kd, left hook IIRC)

Tokashiki was the best midget coming out of Teiken at the time. Greatest showing by a light fly ever IMO, great fight and Chang looked superb.

Think it's the 7th where he goes full-on beast mode and swarms all over the Jap'! Stupendous stuff.

 

Chang beat Chitalada the 2nd time round as well IMO.

Chang would've beaten Yuh in a great fight, he was spectacular, Yuh was solid.

Can his punching power be compared to punching power of someone like Calzaghe?

 

Dunno' about that comparison ain't got time to think about it. But Chang at least bothered everyone he hit. Little raw power no, but his blend of approaches caught a lot of people off-guard and hurt them. Ursua is one off the top of my head who was caught, dropped and hurt. And he was a tough guy.

I once posed the question 'did he have K.O power'? The consensus was no, but he was a hurtful puncher.

By the way, are there any Ursua fights exist except his fights against Chang and Zapata?

Zapata-Ursua is a great short fight.
