I think a big part of this would depend on whether Fedor can get JDS down and keep him down. Then the big unknown is Cigano's ground game.
At some point he is prolly going to end up on his back, he will need to at least be able to get up, (I am sure he can). Lets see how JDS does over a longer period of time before the VS Fedor things start.
This. If he defends in impressive fashion against the winner of Overeem/Lesnar and the winner of Barnett/Cormier, then we can start thinking about him against Fedor.
Theres more to taking down an opponent than a single or a double leg, Fedor's top Judo and Sambo background would be great at this. Current Fedor is slower, weaker, less explosive, and hardly ever use his ground game. Prime Fedor was the opposite of all the above and if he can take down an olympic judo/wrestler then taking down JDS should be easy. I dont have high hopes of JDS matching prime Fedor standing as well.
Fedor wins this....He beat a great striker (Cro Cop) and he beat great grapplers as well, more proven in this one......
Tough one I think. Either Fedor gets knocked because he's too reckless or he easily beats him by Submission or KO. Fight ends quickly anyway.
I can see that, although he has shown he can gas and I can see him getting stuck on bottom if he is gassed.
