His boxing is on a decent level that with practice he could go somewhere. He is a big, strong, powerful man who is jabbing to the body, countering with hooks etc So he has some potential.
you know if hes open minded he could do well, will he be a boxing champ? probably not but he'll be a champ in MMA one day for sure
He's a viable crossover candidate, unlike many MMA elites (likewise there are very few viable crossover candidates in the other direction among boxing's elite).
He has real good hands in MMA, I don't think he'll be a world champ but he can do pretty good. Just cause somebody isn't a world champ doesn't mean they suck, and Santos has pretty good potential. If he concentrated solely on boxing as a kid I'm sure he could have been a solid pro boxer.
I think he could do well. That said I have no interest it in this guy has arguablly the best boxing currently in MMA (Toney dont count) and id like to see how far that can take him.
It would be fun to see how he would do. I don't think he would get past the first couple of rounds with one of the Klitschkos, but watching him throw hands with Arreola or Tua would be fun as hell
