Last I checked MMA was a fight sport? Yeah?

Just because you don't come on to make friends doesn't mean you have to be a dick. I don't think anyone goes of forums to make friends but me personally, I come on to talk and debate about combat sports not hurl insults at people.

most people think the fight will end in the first round. how much cardio do you need?

Talking to this guy is like talking to a brick wall. He can't comprehend nothing

Let me try to break it down.
Overeem hands are not weak, do you know how many people he has knocked out with just his hands? Elite k-1 fighters and MMA fighters.

Second, Overeem doesn't shoot for any take down lol!!!!

exactly what does JDS has that Overeem hasn't faced??

And now you talking about Overeem Cardio. Its gonna end in the first round! how much cardio do u need? the last 10 of his last 11 fights ended in KO in the first round

You state over and over again that JDS has better hands and that is the ONLY reason he is gonna win against Overeem.

Well here is my reason why i think overeem wins.
More experienced. Yes he has fought many strikers. And we all know that JDS is a good striker. This will be a stand up fight!!

Overeem has, knees, kicks, submissions along with his hands.

how many kicks, knees or submissions have you seen JDS do???

you are stuck up on JDS hands speed. Look at todays champs. You know what they all have in common?? GPS, Anderson silvia, Jon Jones, Frankie edgar etc etc. and soon Overeem. They are all well rounded.

I see many are fast to judge JDS for not using more than his hands.
That doesnt mean he isnt well rounded maybe he feels as if he hasnt faced someone good enough for him to bring out more than his hands we saw him going for some takedowns on Carwin even tho most fighters would be able to take him down at that point it still didnt look to shabby.

Anderson Silva still prefers the stand up but it doesnt mean he doesnt have the ground game.
How many times have we seen Jose Aldo submit guys?
Dominick Cruz is the same the prefers to use his hands but it doesnt mean he isnt well rounded

He's a very capable grappler / wrestler but you'd know that right :yep , he'll shoot in once desperate , or
    This content is protected
use that in his game plan if plan a does not seem to be working

One of the most difficuilt men in MMA to hit or take down , and the best offensive boxing currently in the sport , to my mind , Overeem hasnt faced a threat like dos Santos , that really is plain and simple basic MMA knowledge

You need good cardio to last 3 minutes with dos Santos , the guy is a freak athlete who moves like a WW , a little similar to Velasquez in that respect

Once again this is striking in an MMA environment not K1 , how many times !!!!!!!!! , there's a huge difference

dos Santos is well rounded , he just doesnt use his full arsenal the whole time , a bit like Jose Aldo :deal

    Was there anything else ????

i've seen overeem in desperate situation. guess what. He never went for the shoot. Not one time!!

So when did overeem cardio fail him??? you say that overeem has **** cardio but guess what. ITS NEVER BEEN A PROBLEM FOR HIM. go look at BJ penn. He has a issue with cardio and its failed him more than once.

You can apply the same striking you do in k-1 to MMA. lol. the same kick you throw in k-1. u throw in mma!! headkicks, leg kicks, knees.

You want to compare Jose Aldo against JDS? Jose has full range of arsenal and we seen it. I've seen Jose take people down, give out knees and elbows.

you clearly have no idea what you talking about.

you talk about overeem going for the shoot when he doesn't. he's been in many bad situations and not one time did he go for the shoot.
you talk about overeem cardio when its has NEVER failed him.
k-1 striking can be apply to MMA! look at all the former k-1 fighters that came to MMA. which many did well. y?? because you can apply k-1 striking to MMA! Mark hunt came from k-1 and guess what he uses? striking!!! from what? K-1!!! lol!! crocop, overeem.

all my statements have logic and reason behind them.
all your statements are laughable and dont make sense.

i laugh at when you talk about overeem cardio could be a down fall when fighitng JDS.

If Overeem if is in trouble against a superior fighter he may shoot in , thats called mixed martial arts , thats called plan b if a is not working , see Liddell vs Wanderlie round 3 , Chuck predominantley a striker faints a punch and shoots for a TD , dont count Overeem doing this to dos Santos , or on the other hand , he could get hurt and revert to his wrestling ability , again , would be , could be's , no where did i say it will or wont happen

You cannot stand up right in a conventional kick boxing / muay thai stance and strike in MMA it doesnt work , if you over extend or get lazy in the clinch your getting took to the ground , you have to modify your stand up to suit your style and opponent , its small variations but all together it may as well be a discipline in itself , i would not bet my house on Overeem becoming a UFC champion by clinching and striking alone would you ??? its as simple as that , i mean once again thats the most basic of MMA knowlegde

Overeem was breathing heavy and moving heavy in the Werdum fight , call it a hunch but i beleive dos Santos will tire him quickly and make him look heavy , when comparing the volume of lateral movement these guys have , well ............... they dont compare do they , dos Santos is much lighter on his feet , has superior hand and foot speed (thats not muay thai thats footwork) and all round is just a superior athlete to Overeem

While Overeem can be explosive , and look physically imposing , he can not be if he's a fighting at dos Santos's pace , and thats exactly what will be happening , he wont like it , and is cardio will fail him , guarantee'd

Jose Aldo is a black belt under team Nova Uniao , when was the last time he scored a sub ??? :deal:yep

Cro Cop and Hunt are part of the old school where one discipline was enough to make a good fighter , not any more , and had the modern men such as dos Santos been around during Cro Cop's time , Cro Cop would of got his ass knocked out

Look at BJ Penn  mother ****er ive studied BJ Penn my whole life , he was the reason i began training MMA , now leave me alone please

    :hi:

This is just great Overeem eats some horse meat , scores a couple of decisive wins against Brett Rogers and Lesnar , just about edges a stinker against Werdum and he's the second coming of Fedor Emelianenko , i cannot wait for this fight
