    This. The decision was fair. Mchunu only has himself to blame. He'd start the rounds strong only to take the last part of the round off and let Makabu get his flurries off and steal the round. Mchunu just didn't seem to want it enough.

    To be fair, it was a very easy fight to rob. There were a lot of rounds very very close, that were very easy to rob if the judge is slightly biased.

    A robbery? well, I would say yes, I think mchunu won close but clear. The worst robbery I've seen? not even close.

    CST80, you say you thought the 116-112 was egregious, so I have a question. You had it 114-114 and said three rounds Mchunu won were close. So if a judge gave two of those close rounds to Makabu it would be the champ 116-112. Based on your close comments it doesn't seem too egregious Why do you think it was egregious?

    I had it 115-114 Mchunu, by the way.

    The 8 -4 scorecard makes me believe something was arranged pre-fight.
    Mchunu did the same as Winky Wright against Vargas in round 12, no urgency whatsoever as the challenger in a close fight .

    I had Mchunu winning this as he landed the crisper, cleaner and harder punches. 116-112 Makabu card was ergregious.

    Canelo will ktfo Makabu with a counter left.

    He did outbox him but he was so sparing with his shots and Makabu was letting his hands go with much more regularity. Sure Makabu was missing a lot but there's just no goddamn excuse for being so goddamn economical with your shots, especially when you're fighting for the world title and trying to achieve your dream. He could've won via shutout or stoppage if he let his hands go more but he allowed them to rob him. He's an idiot

    He was doing the far cleaner work all night. Could he have show more urgency? Maybe, but the approach he took was wise considering what happened in the first fight. Fighters shouldn't have to worry about getting robbed by lich lords in fights they clearly won. Mchunu got screwed over royally tonight.

    Yes he was doing the cleaner work and is the better and more skilled fighter but even if he upped his output by 10% he would've won far more convincingly. By being so idle and economical he allowed Makabu to work even if he was missing a lot and he made things much more easier for the judges to score against him than he needed to. It's one of the worst examples of a fighter throwing away a world title I've ever seen. All he had to do was just up his output a little but he didn't.

    When you mention me by name without quoting me, make sure you always put an @ before my name to tag me like this... @CST80, otherwise, I might miss it. It's barely feasible even if you're literally going out of your way to find every possible round you can find for Makabu. Even I thought I was being quite generous, I could have easily swung one or two of those Mchunu's way. The rounds I denoted as close were close, but I'm not sure if the ones I gave to Mchunu and said were close were swingable. While I don't hold the opinion of my very emotionally invested friend @UnleashtheFURY that this was a robbery, since I scored it a draw, and thought Mchunu was far too passive and inactive in many of the rounds, and let himself get backed up and outworked, even though much of what Makabu was throwing wasn't landing clean. In terms of perception, it wasn't a good look. That being said, I was trying to keep a level head, not root for either and take all of what I just said into account while scoring them. In doing that, I can't find many rounds for Makabu to steal from Mchunu, but I can find another round or two Mchunu could steal from Makabu, if that makes any sense.
