Holler at your boy,the forgotten champion, one time Brooklyn's finest Poison Junior Jones !!

Was I too drunk or did I see Junior Jones walking out with Paulie Malignaggi during the ringwalk? :huh He's gained some weight but I think it was him in a black suit.. Right?

Anyway let's give it up to this forgotten champion..

Yes and??? Not once, but he beat the legendary barrera twice.. On top of that, it was the prime barrera so what more can you ask of a man?

Jones works in a mailroom, not the post office, and he delivers mail to my floor.

Wow you get your mails delivered by the Poison himself.. That must be a trip. Well tell him that he's the daddy to one of the greatest mexican champion Barrera. He could have accomplished alot more but he still owns Barrera and not many fighters can claim that..

This is sickening. Even though Jones was never a household name, he was still the first one to beat a prime barrera twice and put up a memorable fight with Mckenney even in losing fashion. Junior Jones was not your everyday fighter ya. It's sad how he couldn't live up to his potential because he could have been so much more.

Why am I not surprised though.. Junior Jones get no love around here..
    BULL****!!!

the rumor says that he had way too many gym wars,
    thats shortened his carrier.
When he was in his late twenties he was already shot.
He was a great fighter in his prime

Jones exposed that overrated fraud Barrera. I knew that Barrera was an overprotected hypejob.

:D I like what you have done there.

Also Jones was stopped by the massively underrated Paul Ingle. Ingle was a tough champion who stopped McMillan and Jones and was himself KO'd by Hamed.

Yeah he was a good fighter with a big heart. He took a lot of punishment though...Isn't he very punch-drunk now?

he gave hamed a very tough fight. I remember that he wanted to take a stand by leaving the ring cuz hamed took too long...it was ******ed, he had to run back in right when hamed got in the ring.

the only thing more ******ed that night was the advice manny steward was giving hamed.
