Barrera was business as usual against Jones in the first fight. He was hit with a right hand out of nowhere, and went down. He was NOT dominating Barrera throughout.

Honestly Pac would anhiiiate Jones......Pac's to big a puncher at 122 lbs and Jones chin was pretty close to glass.

Jones actually had the skills and the right hand to beat Pac, but you need a strong chin to survive Pac for 12 rounds, Jones simply does'nt have that.

Btw my friend, the last gif there is proof that Pac's right cross to which he used against Hatton is'nt newly developed.....he's using it right there in his earlier days........he's landing it right there, the same shot that dropped Hatton early on.......

.....it goes to show me that the shot works against primitive fighters, and Pac's right cross is'nt as developed as alot on this board would want us to believe.

.....when you have a good one is when you can start landing that shot consistently against skilled opposition.
Pac's straight left is a gem, but his right cross just is'nt at world caliber and thats just obvious to me.


.....in fact Pac is using that right hand in two of the other gif's as well......this during a time when Pac supposedly has'nt developed his right hand......when the truth is Pac can land that right hand on the 2nd tier at any time in his career.

 

That is such bull****. Business as usual my ass. MAB was in a very tough fight constantly getting hit with big right hands and left hooks. The right hand was not out of nowhere, have you even seen the fight?

 

Divac a cross is a power punch that you throw over your leading arm with the opposing arm. The Pac that KD JMM is the rematch is a cross. The punch you are refering to is a right hook. And imo all that shows is that Pac's technical skill from his days at 122 are underrated

......and on the technical aspects of Pac's early career....I dont believe he was overrated or underrated......probably a little overrated right after his demolition of MAB......but the Morales and JMM fights showed me that Pac could'nt match technical skills with either of those guys.....and thats not truly a stab at Pac, as it so happens that JMM and Morales are really and truly gifted individuals in the technical aspects of the game......Pac is just well below them on the skill aspect of it, but he makes up for it with other fine attributes.

Not a knock on Pac but just guaging his weaker points as apposed to his finer points.

 

The right actually stunned alot of boxers if you watch Pac career he has pop in that right hook. His staight is more powerful turn that straights into a overhand hook it is more concusive watch Hatton's head twist as a result of the impact.
