So. . . . when did this topic go from Pac vs Jones to MAB's vs JMM's technique? :huh

 

Most Mexican's throw good hooks to the body.....Marco definitely throws a good left hook.....but to say that its better than JMM, I just dont agree with it.

If you saw JMM's fight with Juan Diaz, its his assault to Diaz' body that wore on Diaz and led to the KO.......

.....I'd point to a like opponent, Robbie Peden....JMM faced a once beaten better version of Peden, and JMM's body assault on him led to the Peden team throwing in the towel.....in fact, the body assault by JMM was so brutal that the fight had to be stopped by Peden's cornermen as Peden was throwing up blood sittin on his stool after the end of the 9th round.

Peden was dominated by MAB three years later, but recieved nowhere's the beatdown to the body as he had at the hands of JMM.

My point is'nt proof that Marquez is the better body puncher, but it certainly a nice intro to anyone that has followed both of their careers, that at the very least he's on par if not better than MAB.

 

So the **** what? What does that have to do with the topic at hand? Does it get your little ***** hard to talk **** about MAB? MAB was prime at 122, a weight JMM never saw. MAB began his career at about 112 lbs, maybe lighter, JMM never weighed in below 126 in his life. p4p imho the 122 version of MAB is as good or better than any version of JMM.

well this is just completely wrong. Pac stayed at the lower weights much too long and was a lot more susceptible to getting KTFO at 122 than he is at 135, and I suspect 140. Pac isn't small. He started out that way but he has a good strong frame at 140 and doesn't look to be carrying any extra weight.

 

he start fighting at light flyweight (106 lbs) because he start boxing at age 16 years old....most of his KOs are flyweight and superbantamweight bouts...

 

And he wasn't fighting the quality of opposition then that he is now and he still got stopped a couple of times. Fighters of that level couldn't touch him today.

 

haha...he lost 2 times on weight problems in one lightflyweight and one flyweight bouts...he never lost at superbantamweight...He almost KOs his opponents who are willing to fight him!!!....

 

all pac wins at 122 is via KO.

hey no doubt Barrera's jab and left hook were things of beauty and imo better than JMM's but overall JMM's technique aka offensive arsenal, movement, defense, counter-punching ability, etc are better than Barrera's. Barrera has other attributes that he has over JMM like speed, power and strength.
