Austin may well knock him out but I dont think he would win by giving him a "boxing lesson".

Even if it was very inconsistent Poison clearly had the better resume. I dont think Austin faced anyone worth mentioning till Sor Vorapin..then Marquez, then the rest is history. I really didnt rate Botile, who was more infamous (thats probably the wrong word) for the Ingle fight then anything.

Botile, on his day, was actually a decent fighter, as evidenced overseas in the Ingle fight, utterly took the man apart, the judges scorecards were a disgrace. To have ended Botile's fairly decent reign in such a manner, Austin definitely deserves a lot of credit on that front. The Arthur Johnson fight was Austin probably at his peak, very difficult to best on that vein of form. Talent-wise, JJ has the possibility to defeat Austin, but because of his tendency to gas out as a fight wores on, more often than not, Austin obviously would have to start as the favourite. Shame their careers sort of overlapped.
