The show is complete garbage. Edited fights, constant repeats of punches and sound effects..... This is trash of the highest order. If anybody is finding this enjoyable I sugggest you get your fat lazy unknowledgeable ass off the couch and get to a local fight card and see what it is really all about.

I think this is good for boxing but these officials that judge fights are fukd the boxers train hard for months to acheave there goals and to have a guy who has never had a fight and sat down and done a hour coarse is shite!
What? Home fighters up against a gift fight? This is what the majority of aussie fights have become because people are too concerned about padding records than actually challenging themselves
its not for the purists but its a soap opera with a bit of boxing.that being said it still counts on a boxers record and this taints a boxers record.
C'mom Stiff...you cant simply brush it off as soap opera...everything about this program should be ligit. Boxers records and reputations are on the line and an official prize is offered. The prize alone would have to been recognised by a state authority and prescribed to all conditions by the clowns who have set this crap up.
i know what your saying and agree but unlike the American version these guys are offered other than the 25k and 40k car a 250k shot at Mundines title which means Mundine has a vested interest in who wins.so expect whoever Mundine wants to win will win.as far as the soap opera goes SMA,Nader arguing and trying to be the boss and decide who fights who its entertainment a bit like big brother without attention whores getting pissed and making out with each other.

actually he called them all cowards on the show when Briggsy was trying to calm him down and when Briggsy said'ok Sonni you can be next fight if you fight Victor Oganov'he dogged it.
I cant handle the contender, most of the fighters could not draw flies to a dump. I agree with the other poster , the sound effects and all the other crap that goes on , its the same ideology FOX has with not showing Mayweather or Vic live and putting UFC in front of them, for gods sake The Contender was dumped from fours years in a row from station to station in the states because of the lack of interest. i watched Junior and Mitrevski fight live last year, I wish I had a pillow on my table so I could have fell asleep, if anyone think Junior Talipeu could even get in the ring against Mundine or Bika they must be playing with themselves !!!
So because "The Daily Telegraph" suggests that Oganov felt he lost the fight it must be fact. Oganov was disapointed with the performance and knew there was a chance he may have lost the decision but he never stated at any time that he felt as though he " Lost The Fight". As for being "bias" I'd bet that there's not one person on this forum that doesn't have an opinion one way or another about this show and those involved in it. The difference is that I don't jump up and down screaming "Mundine insults" at the television everytime something don't agree with my egotistical mentality......:| As I said before, watching the contender I thought Junior won the fight but as some have pointed out they only show about 30 seconds each round of actual footage which is why I watched the complete fight afterwards. Sure it was close but I gave it 3 rounds to 2 in favour of Oganov taking into account nothing but the actual fight. You and a few others already believe that there's some conspiracy run by the all powerful Mundine so how can you expect to be objective when your sight is so clouded ? :verysad
