When you moved from a junior to a senior, what was the biggest differences you noticed? And how did you cope?

Strength is a big factor. As a kid you would meet a lot of guys who didn't have the capability to chin you- once you get to 17 plus you find that the majority have a fair pop. Also fighters start to take more of an interest in general fitness leading to improved perfromance. This is where you make it, or not.

well you're going to have to fight for 3x2 minute rounds for a start.unless the rules have changed.

I thought they would be the main factors. In the gym I am constantly sparring older and bigger guys and these are the two things that hit me (literally).

I've boxed 3x2s for 2 years now, as a Youth I will box 4x2s in Championships and can box 3x3's as a senior. I think these both will suit me better.

Depending on what weight you fight at, there's a reasonable chance u could get knocked out, where as as at school boy, youth level there is next to no chance of this happening.

The guys are fitter, but not remarkably so.

A part from that - I think more skill is involved and fighters start to think a lot more where as at schoolboy/level alot of fights are won purely on talent.
