Twas the British version of Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, really.

In other words, given how that one finally came to fruition, not too late, innit? :D

Just caught the last round, witter with the usual awkwardness and showboating, didn't look like hes done yet.

judges gave it to the french fighter, which wasn't surprising as its in france, very poor fighter, didn't deserve the win. I had witter up 3 rounds, even after a so callled 'knock down' and point deduction.

Never really rated Witter. Being awkward and being gifted aren't the same thing. He never seem to understand this.

    He was also incredibly dislikable.

Some do say the same of Mayweather. :conf

Hatton would've been the "Pacquiao" in that match-up (the rawer, more exciting one, and fan-friendlier)

Shame witter won that fair and square. He hasnt boxed that well in a long time thought at one point he was gonna start with his falling about etc but he diddnt. Foxed it a bit and set the pace but clearly won. Pity.

One judge having it near a shutout for the Frenchman renders the whole event a farce. :-(

He probably done enough to win the fight but it was painful to watch. Witter could have won so comfortably it could have been embarrassing but would just not throw the jab enough and instead opted throw an awkward lead hook to the body and then tie up. Deserved his point deduction. **** fight that could have been easy for him.
