I know there's loads of threads On Junior On Here but i think i may as well start a new one so every sees the article and can read what he had to say.

Here's some Quotes from the Article
"I felt the fight was quite even," Witter said. "I had a hairline fracture to my hand six months ago, and it felt like I re-injured it just like that again in the fourth round. The pain would move from my hand to a jolt in my elbow. I tried to switch it up. If you notice, I'd start with my right and try to finish with my left, but I couldn't."

"My elbow went in and basically, I couldn't keep him off my left hand," Witter said. "I battled through for a few rounds, but the pressure kept coming, and finally, I couldn't keep doing it.

"It wasn't that I wanted to quit, I wanted to win. I don't think it was my last fight. I have to decide which way I'm going now and how to go about it."

I get impression that Junior was frustrated and felt the injury was hampering him and made a decision he will regret in the time to come...as i read a few different comments and some he says he was behind some he said the fight was close.

I think he started letting things get to him in there and i seen fighters who realize they don't have it anymore they quickly fall apart and i think Junior did that he just did'nt seem the same cocky Junior we all know...backing up when he used to stand his ground etc......i think Junior needs to walk away or go to domestic level under a new trainer becuase he's gone stale recently as well.

The Witter that fought Bradley beats Alexander and that says alot about how poor that fight was and how poor the New Champion is.

I agree i bet Warren's on a flight out there now....who would of fought Khan could become a unified Light Welter Champion in 09. This is a great fight for him.

I half agree, I do think that version of Witter wins.
But it wasn't a poor fight, though certainly not great, nor is Alexander a poor champion. No-one gets to look great against Witter.

I also agree that frustration got the better of Witter and it will be something he regrets. It looked almost like a spur of the moment thing. "My arm aches and this ref says he's gonna dock me a point, well screw you guys" and all that.

Yeah i agree with you. I just don't think Alexander is another Tim Bradley but he's a deserving champ and yeah Witter makes even Judah look ordinary. He's a decent fighter and i'm seeing alot of american posters saying he's better then last night so maybe i was being harsh.
