Personally i think they should take it, get the fight on an undercard in the states. Witter should win it easialy, whether it will be as easy as Hatton did it im not so sure.

All the Hatton nuthuggers would say its proof Hatton id better than Witter is Witter doesn't win within 4!

Like it took Hatton to KO Lauri in 5 rounds Witter 2 rounds. ;)

I think Witter could well win within 4.

At least it would mean Witter is actually making something happen for himself. He should take it.

He should definately take this one..castillo is vunerable yet still makes an impact on some1s record if they get a win against him, even at his age.
Witter is strong, quick and has good fighitng skills..if he stood toe to toe with Ricky Hatton and didnt hold back he could make it a very gd contest with every chance of winning..not that id want him to tho.

Do all you can to set up a fight with Castillo,it could be the last stepping-stone to facing Hatton! :happy

He may aswel take it. Hell probably get paid more to fight Castillo than anyone else right now and JLC is one of the few 140ers that ppl have heard of. Might give him more leverage for a Hatton fight.

I'm worried that Witter will go out to win quicker than Hatton and that could mess him up a bit.

I think at this stage of his career he is expected to be explosive now, which he certainly was against Harris, he knows the time is running out on him, i give Witter two more years at the level he is performing at now.

They should look at this as a stay busy fight - with US exposure. Depending on his performance - it could do well for his career.

What, Witter making a quicker work than Hatton? :patsch

Castillo is past his prime and after the Hatton loss he will even be weaker than his 2007 self. Still, I'd go for a UD win for Witter. No way that he can place a perfect body blow like Hatton did and Castillo has a granite chin.

There is not much sense in making this fight. Castillo is not a legitimate contender especially after his brutal KO loss and if Witter can't take him out earlier than Hatton (NO WAY HE CAN!) the win could turn against him. A simple win wouldn't mean anything to Witter's career as Castillo is shot, a 4 round KO would just even up with Hatton but Ricky did it earlier and there's not too much chance of a quicker victory.

Sorry guys, but in 2008 it's not a good matchup. It's a bad matchup for a world title fight. Like making a Joan Guzman - Oscar Larios fight. Larios is shot. Castillo is shot. There are better matchups, just use your imagination.

What can Witter do though? He is the the boxing equivalent of the plague.

I'm shocked as I've just visited the official site of Jose $ulaiman's World Banking Council and found out that his fellow mexicano JLC is ranked 2nd on the LWW list!

What a joke has WBC become lately...

Witter is too good for his own good. This is probably the best fight he can get.
