If this fight helps Witter get more exposure and leads to bigger matchups, then I'm all for it. Besides, even though he would lose, at least Castillo gets a decent payday.

I think Castillo has a chance. There's a good chance that Witter never MAKES Castillo respect him and Castillo makes it a Castillo kind of fight.

To go into a fight against someone like JLC assuming it will be a cakewalk would be a huge mistake for anyone.

There is a chance that Witter gets unmotivated, another weakness of his but still in the US i see Witter taking it, I dont think Castillo has any real chance against Witter, stoppage by 9 I think.

Iv changed my mind on this bout.Witter always rises to the occasion when he knows theres alot on the line.A Castillo bout despite Castillo being faded and all will get him noticed.Witter is more than aware of that and he will be eager to do a better job than Hatton.

Castillo is a come forward slugger and Witter is a slick counter puncher. That spells disaster for Castillo espcially at this stage in his career when he has so much mileage on his clock.

Witter needs to KO him to impress and he will go looking for it.Witter punches harder than any other fighter at 140 and will have the power to hurt Castillo. If Witter is on his game theres a possibility he could stop Castillo sooner than Hatton did.

The harris fight is the first time Ive been impressed by Witter. With his track record He shouldnt be giving the high hat to JLC who is still even on the fade the bigger name and Witters foolish not to take this type of fight in the States. I just get the feeling Witter would rather sit and squawk about Hatton ducking him them putting himself in the line of fire against the likes of JLC, Holt and Torres

But does he commit to the body like Hatton does?

I don't see anyone finishing the granite chinned castillo with a head punch.

If Corrales could do it Witter can do it better. He punches way harder than Corrales.

Corrales managed it after 10 rounds of intense brawling.

Witter's 10 punches a round ain't gonna get the job done.

Yeah, Castillo is shot and will probably get KO'ed very early, but at least he will get paid a pretty nice amount one last time because of his name. Castillo should take this fight if he needs the money, then beat up a few bums in Mexico and retire.

I hope Witter accept this fight.
Castillo needs a decent payday and I think he deserves it for everything he has done for boxing.
And I still think Castillo has 20-30% chance to beat Witter. Castillo beat Ngoudjo who is a very tough guy.

Very true. I mean he spolis a fight look are the chop chop fight. I mean I know hatton got owned by floyd and I paid 600 quid to go and watch the fight but I would rather watch the excitement hatton brings than watch witter on friday fights night on sky.

Yea, he's dull, spends most of his time just pawing at his opponents gloves with his own and turning from side to side like a poor Mayweather imitator.

Oh **** off, yeah he can be negative but that's pure Hatton fan wank bull**** you are spouting, who cares if he is a poor mans mayweather, Witter gets the job done, and on many occaison he has been impressive. Witter might not KO Castillo, but its so easy he would stop him, knocking him down or not.
