I have no interest in this fight, but if it happened I am confident Hatton would win.

Both Shot fighters... Due to Hattons knock out loses & the way he abuses his body outside of the ring i think Witter still might have a bit too much for him....

I'm the same, no longer interested in this fight.

I used to think Witter could nick a decision, but now i think it could go either way.

I agree with both comments... Hatton will not give Witter a payday end of.. I think that Witter should have gone up to 147 about 5yrs ago...:yep

All this talk about this fight is boring now.. i fancied Witter a few years ago to beat Hatton hands down fort he would be to slick, but i think Witter is finished now and we all know Hatton isnt the same fighter but i think he would have to much for Witter at this stage of thier careers.

Witter is pretty much done, I always thought he would land something big on that eggy Hatton chin and spark him.

I can't believe so many people thought Witter could've stolen this. Obviously I've been watching two completely different fighters all these years.

Right now is probably the only time that Hatton has a chance of beating Witter. No way could he do it while Witter was in his prime, we saw how Hatton performed when he stepped up a level and I am sure it would have happened again if he had fought Witter.

Not sure fighting Witter can be called stepping up a level. Style wise I think Witter may cause problems but I would expect Hatton to overcome Witter. Anyone who can really fight and knows what they are doing will take Witter. Put it this way the fights Witter has lost to live opponents like Bradley and Alexander tell a lot.

    Of course he would.

Witter is now fighting at 147 and we all know Hatton moving up by 7 pounds decreases his boxing ability by roughly 88%

It does seem hypocritical that many posters are reading a lot into Hatton's loss to Pacquiao but not a great deal into the Alexander one for Witter.

What styles do they struggle with?

Hatton struggles with slick fighters, especially southpaws.

Witter doesn't like being pressured or being up against guys with high workrate.

Without going into a shitload of detail as I have before (because this topic is seriously old) I see a Hatton victory by stoppage in the mid-late rounds.

Too much pressure, too high punch volume = too much for Witter.

May be a first Beeston but I actually agree with you. Great analysis. Since you are in great form how do you see PBF vs Marquez.
