I'm liking what I'm seeing. Junior is fighting a nobody admittedly, but he's not ****ing about switch hitting and has a fearsome look of determination on his face. I always thought that he ****ed up against Bradley and according to ITV it was due to him not being right mentally, because of his dad having cancer. I really hope he gets another shot at a title next year.

good win but that guy came to lose he never took a full blooded shot and still decided to go down and stay down

not great preparation for a world title shot

    Witter looked good tonight

That was much better. He's fighting a can, but still Witter was fighting a far more substantial style.

He doesn't need to switch around all the time, or dance, or pose. Just use the jab, use his punch variety and power. He has more than he showed tonight too, he didn't even have to show his counterpunching skill.

Witter was actually throwing more than 5 punches per round for a change, looked good.

The opponent was very poor, but Witter did the job nice and quick. A good confidence booster for Junior.

Very professional job. Looked strong and confident, okay it was nobody special but still i like the look of him.

An Euro title fight then another shot at the world title looks like a good idea to me...

He will destroy Olusegun if it happens.

    Can't wait.

Witter will always look good against opponents of such a low standard as this, the guy had no chance of winning whatsoever.

Hatton got pasted by Mayweather, and was slated over his choice of comeback opponent. He even got slated for having a tough fight.

Witter gets outpointed by a relatively unknown fighter, and fights somebody with nothing to offer in his comeback. Now ITV are making out he's back to the Witter of old, as if the Bradley loss was just a minor blip.

What a pile of hypocritical bollocks.

Bradley might have done him a lot of favours. I remember in the pre-match interviews before Bradley he was going on about Hatton a lot, and it showed his gym at home and it had a Hatton newspaper cutting on the wall. Obsessive....

I disagree. His method of dispatch was very promising, despite him fighting a walking punchbag

He saves the boring style for reasonable opponents.
