witter looked good. that guy should nbot have really been in there but for a comeback fight was ok. Witter looked sharp and did everything right. hopefully he can get himself a **** in 2009.

Witter looked good but he had to against that opponent. The difference between Witters comeback fight and Hattons is that it was free to watch on an undercard and a last minute opponent, it could have been an eliminator if the other guy had not bottled it. Hatton wanted the fans to pay £15 to see him top the bill on a **** card against a guy who would have been a decent last minute opponent.


Hatton is the big time charlie star so can do as he pleases and make his money, hopefully he will come through the malinfaggi fight and get an opportunity vs another top class opponent like JMM, Pac or Oscar. Unfortunetly for Witter the best he can hope for is to beat Ajose and then try to win back his belt, no really big fights but another definate disapointment for the guy somewhere down the line.

 

did anybody notice during the williams fight tonight carl froch spent the whole time chatting up an absolute hottie at ringside, looked like he was taking her number at one point. legend.

 

That was his sister Julie "the viper" Froch.

 

Witter had his business head on, against an ordinary opponent but couldnt have done more, showed some flashes of excellence I thought. Might have been better for him to maybe get a few more rounds in but big confidence booster.

i realy think he should avenge his first loss to ZAB JUDAH

it should be a better fight this time round and it would sell more the most fight that are available for witter

also it would be a big win for witter if he could deal with zab he will be more well known
because as we know not just anybody beats judah, only the best beat him
kostya, cotto, clottey, mayweather and spinks
if witter adds his name to that it would rase his stock big time

 

Witter always looks good when the other guy isnt fighting back.

Remeber his "awesome" ko streak when he was knocking over blown up lightweights.

If you allow Witter to tee off and work at his own pace he will always look good.

 

That seems the fairest summation.

Tougher tests ahead for Witter. He'll need to keep that game face on.
I think it will benefit him now that it seems a fight against Hatton is less likely than ever.

 

yeh but to be fair hatton lost to one of the best fighters ever and witter lost to tim bradley.
