Pardon my french but this is such uninformed bull****. Team Witter don't want this contest and never have. Hennessy offered us crap money and a couple of weeks notice because they thought they could catch us on aware e.g. not being in training. We gave them a counter offer for the contest in early November and we have not heard from them ever since. Now we get this crap about them saying we priced ourselves out of a contest. What the hell has Sister Witter got that would make anybody avoid her. So Junior, Elder, Sister or Whatever you are called you can have the fight whenever you want. Tell your promoter to put up or shut up. In any event the WBC will most likely order the contest for the mandatory to fight Bradley. The time is coming baby.

Ted Bami is a very nice guy but he has had several opportunities to fight us. What makes you think he will now be ready to take us on.

 

I have no idea how an Olu vs Bami contest would pan out.

Bami is average, whilst Olusegun is bound to be rusty having fought NOBODY of note for as long as I can remember.

 

Sorry mate, but when your man is taking fights against a man with a 1-3 record then any offer is too high. Until he proves otherwise between the ropes Olusegun is all mouth and no substance.

I think even the supposed weak beltholder Kotelnik gives Olusegun all he can handle. If you struggle with Nigel Wright's jab and technical skill, its going to be trouble.

Kotelnik ain't weak, the guy would give anyone in the division trouble, he already did to Witter.

 

I know he isn't, but he's the ignored man of the division despite holding a major belt. That is why I said supposedly weak, as I'm one of his bigger (or only) fans.

All his losses have been disputable.

 

Fair play to him for this, but wins above the weight don't get taken into account for the world light welter rankings. And at 140, Wright is about the best he's managed. Wright is not a world class fighter, hell he's only just in the Boxing Monthly British top ten. Ajose needs to move before his career passes him by, Witter would be great, if not the States beckons.
