He was clearly world class. i think he lost a close one to kotelnik.witter seemed to run out of ideas wonse he found out that kotelnik wouldnt fall for his tricky but limited counters,then kotelnik came on in the 2nd half a little like the alexander fight.

 

Feel sorry for him.

The guy was a world class fighter but was managed only as a domestic product.

 

We were even told that Hatton had Witter written in his contract - total bollocks.

Decent career considering it was clearly sabotaged by Frank Warren.

 

Its a good resume all things considered. Had the pleasure of meeting him in an airport when I was like 15, really courteous guy to me and my dad.

 

it was a crime witter and hatton never fought.i,m sure ita case of risking your cash cow for warren and a case of high risk and not much to gain for hatton.
