Boxing fan's will remember him for his arrogance, awkward style,winning the British title, his Commonwealth belt victories, his stint as European champion, his wins against many top class opponents and the fact he is a WBC world champion.


Anyone stupid enough to say that is not worth credit is stupid or just bitter.


We currently have two great light welterweight fighters who many regard as the number one and two in the division. If these two fighters do not meet then it is a disgrace, especially for the one saying he is the peoples champ and that he is willing to give back to the fan's.

The only bitter ones on here are the ones slagging Hatton off.The difference between me and you is that i watch Witter and want him to win because hes English,i just dont think hes in Hattons league,whereas i think you and others on here want Hatton to lose so you can massage your egos and say"i was right"

I'm just glad that Enzo Mac and David Haye didn't turn out like this mess. At least we know for sure who was the better man in that fight, we never will find out between Ricky and Junior.

:huh That hasn't happened yet or even been signed. When do possible fights/mismatches become reasons to avoid your main rival?
If this is the case then Junior should fight Ricky because he may decide to go to WW and beat Floyd, Cotto and everyone else.
See, I can justify fights with speculation aswell.

 

It quite probable it will happen, if Hatton wants it to, its his decision. As I have stated elsewhere Hatton and pac are the same height and pac has a 2 inch greater reach; it's not as huge size mismatch as people would like to make out.

I'm not saying its an excuse for not fighting Witter, he should at some point. I'm just saying give the guy a break when it comes to slating him for the quality of his opponents, no other boxer has got in the ring with P4P 1, 2s and 3s.

 

I have no problem with him fighting Lazcano. Hatton deserves an easier fight after being ko'd for the first time. I personally have a problem with the fight being £15 and for Hatton not even considering a fight with Junior. The fight would make ten times what Macca Haye made easy and alot of people want to see it. And IMO Ricky would kill Pacman to death inside of tree rounds.
