He's following the footsteps of his fellow countryman Inoue and is quickly become a star. Can be become undisputed at 118? Can he grab a belt at 122 if Inoue moves up? Is a fight with Naoya Inoue possible in the future? Does he have a chance? I think he should try to get a fight Jason Moloney next. I know Moloney wants it, so he can get revenge for his brother.
He's got time on his side. I think he can become undisputed at 118 but it'll take time. Yeah he has high ceiling, could see him going up to 122.
He said he wants to win a belt at 122 cause that's the weight his mentor Kozo Ishy was a champion at. I think he should try to unify at 118 this year then move up and have a super fight with Inoue if it's still available.
For Nakatani to become undisputed, he will have to fight Takuma Inoue. That's a fairly easy fight to make as well. If he beats Takuma Inoue by KO, Naoya will definitely want a piece of Nakatani. Makes for a compelling storyline.
He could potentially go all the way to 126-130. It'll be interesting to see him mix it up with Figueroa, Espinoza and Warrington.
