Stop ****in around guys, the fight could have been stopped, but the beginning of the onslought was an accidental headbut (at least I think so). He took many punches but he didn´t go down. The way braemer fought on after that you can see that he wasn´t finished, just dazed...

I thought it was a short left hook counter punch, I never saw any headbutt.

I agree Brahmer was still OK to fight though and on reflection I don't think the ref done anything wrong, he waited till the onslought was finnished and had the doctor look at the cut. If Sukhotsky was a bigger puncher he'd have finnished it but that isn't the ref's fault.

don't worry it is just the "robbery reflex".. Ref acted according to the rules.. but the spanish judge who gave it 118:110 to Braehmer should get beaten up... I had it 115:112 Braehmer...

Even Sukhotsky said he thought the fight would have been stopped any second but fighting on and the result was NOT unfair.

...but I admit that Braemer was on the verge of getting his arse kicked against an unknown contender (but the russian was not as bad as his ranking)

No, you can't stop the fight and get the doctor to examine the cut if the fighter is hanging for dear life. You can stop fight after so many unanswered punches, you can stop it because of the cut, and you can get the doc to examine it after the onslaught but at a neutral point. Also, the doc is not allowed to deal with the cut, and he never asked him can he see fingers or similar, but dealt with the cut.

Braehmer is a tough sob, but he got a break in this one.

Not garbage, that would be to harsh, but he surely has to work on his concentration.

I agree the 118-110 was too wide a margin but I was in no doubt that Brahmer had won. I think the 116-112 score cards were fair enough, I personally gave Sukhotsky 5 rounds but thought some of them were close and could have gone either way so I wasn't surprised at him getting 4.

Good fight, the cut made it exciting at the end and even though he lost Sukhotsky done well, that was the first time he'd been the full 12 rounds and was only his 15th fight.
