Khan seemed to be unbalanced the moment he got into the ring swinging wild wild punches. He was boiling with anger about the money, that Mcloskey was getting more than him,he couldn't control his anger. Mcloskey took advantage of this and was cool headed and good tactically.

The pre fight mess, got to Khan, who wanted and a easy fight, look good, show his face to his fans and have a nice pay before the Bradley fight. He got none of this that's why he was bitter after the fight. He just wants to forget this fight.

I personally feel the weight has become an issue now and it has to be down to all the conditioning training.

he came in at 139 which suggests to me he had a wee problem making weight.

It was a performance you'd expect of an orthodox fighter, fighting against a decent southpaw, who was awkward and intent on spoiling.

I wouldn't read too much into it. Khan didn't look good, but he still was winning easily. See what his next fight brings, then I'll judge.

Khan is one dimensional and having Roach as a trainer doesn't seem to have changed that.

He is good though and to put things in to perspective he won the fight and beat an undefeated fighter, regardless of how he won or the performance. But he isn't going to be top p4p material no.

so what of gameplans? mcloskey needed to go into the later rounds and then start unloading.why people cant see that is beyond me.he made khan look ordinary which is all he is anyway!if all a game plan is, is to win every round ,then ali was not great he was just lucky foreman got knackered.

Khan and half the LWW division were exposed by Morales being competetive the other night.

Khan won every round. Sure McCoward’s ultra defensive style made it a boring fight but not sure how Khan was ‘exposed’ in a shutout victory.

Not very impressed by that performance. I think he is going to lose conclusively to Bradley.

He threw too many punches and McCloskey was a southpaw who fought pretty defensively and didn't let his hands go. At the end of the day he won every round just like Wlad did with Sultan and Vitali did with Johnson. Khan will probably learn from this and look better next time. It's just one of those things.

Amir was in a very good match the last time out with Maidana and probably thought this was going to be easy work.Im not saying he did not work hard cos he is a good worker,he always looks in good shape but he wont have had the same concentration he did for Maidana. That and the ****ing about with the money lead to him being below par.He should have dealt with it better but he is at the stage now where he needs a challenge to really fire him up.

He was only tired because he missed upwards of 90% of hits shots. Paul also relied on the fact that khan really has no inside game.

Similar night for Khan tonight as John Murray a couple weeks ago.

Not a great day at the office but McCloskey made him look worse,
