Just 4 kicks...what needs to leave the board as topics?

    This is just for fun...my list of corny thing on the forum that need to go. 1. The Nicknaming of fighters we don't like...Calslappy, Fraud Mayweather, and Margacheato...they were funny at first...now it played out like that "Arnold and what u talkn bout Willis" Ha. (Fraudley stands the test of time, tho) 2. The threads that are put up just to bash. I don't like Joe Cal, but he did what he did, made his money, and got out the game with his health intact...who can hate that? Do I think his fans overate him? Yes. Do I care? No. This goes for the unrelenting haters who hate boxers so much that it is starting to resemble a woman scorned...STOP! (John Ruiz can be hated on 4ever) 2. Bitching 3. The constant bragging on fighters you have never seen fight...SRR, Willie Pep, Henry Armstrong etc...these dudes are ATG's no doubt, but we act like every other boxer no matter how great he is can never attain these levels or surpass them. 4. Stop searching for the next great U.S. Heavyweight...aint happening. I thought I had more, but I have a bran freeze...anyone else have anything?

    People critisizing fighters for 'glass jaws'. e.g 'OOO hes such a fuc**in glass jaw joke'

    When a fighter is actually in the ring and risks hes life...and some loser on the keyboard decides hes so tough. Hed probably get knocked into another galaxy when hit with a the same shot..

    Also, although i dont mind criticism, just over the top hate is a bit too much. Were talking on the sport of BOXING. Risks are high. This isnt volleyball and i would like a bit more perspective on some matters.

    This is not specific stuff, but there is a certain mind set I wish we could get rid of, and it goes like this - - - -

    A fighter who loses is shot, and won't ever be the same.

    If Calzaghe outspeeds you, your slow as mud.

    If Pavlik or Abraham knock you out, you have a chin chin.

    If Andrade tires you out, you have stamina issues.

    I could go on, but I think you'l get my point.

    The only reason I check the boards is so I can keep tab's on Rico's "Glass Jaw of the month" rankings. :bbb

    By the way, did they come out for May? If so I missed them! :fire

    Punch resistance is a huge part of Boxing. As long as I am around Glass Jaws will be discussed here.

    Correct. There are posters that post just to post and are not saying a damn thing intelligent. Some think that having just say 10,000 posts means the individual is a boxing expert or something. Without naming, but many posters are very intelligent and have so much boxing knowledge. While others are just goating posters to a trolling debate. I do like the fact that some come on ESB and learn what others say. Some get picked apart. Still enjoy the forum where you can find debates and discussions. At work, "Tyson still fighting" and I walk away.
