Why is it that this excuse seems viable for some fighters but not others?. In the last few weeks we have had this about Jacobs,Devon and now Dawson. Yet other fighters like Froch,Pascal,Kessler, AA dont seem to get this same treatment?. Ward schools Kessler and it was because Ward ofc was so good. Pascal schools Dawson and it was ofc because Dawson had a bad night. Why do we try to make excuses for some boxers and not others?
This also links to expectations and how we view victorys aswell. Froch beats Pascal,Taylor and scrapes past Dirrell and is BEGRUDGLINGLY given props, while at same time also recieves a lot of hate. Dirrell loses a close fight to Froch then beats AA and is suddenly a future ATG HOF and already edgeing his way into ppls top 15-20 p4p lists
Calzaghe beats a prime Kessler and many justs ay its an overated win against an overated euro, Ward beats an older version and is now regarded as possible the top guy 168 and lock in for ATG HOF stattus.

Just a lot of insecure british people that have fighters like haye and khan ducking top fighters so they try to include themselves with all the other european countries where good fighters actually come from.

I´ve never felt Dawson was something special. I wasnt surprised about the outcome, so no it wasnt a bad night at the office.

It amazes me how if a fighter loses one fight they are now washed up or overrated. I don't care what country a fighter is from! The hate needs to stop! From British to American fighters or wherever the hell they are from doesn't matter!

Nuthuggers and haters exist on both sides, just waiting to pounce for their opportunites to praise and criticize.

Generally speaking, us boxing fans are ****ing pathetic.

Do you all realize just how exposed guys like Ali, Foreman, Liston, Thomas Hearns and those guys would've been had they fought today? :rofl
