Just "and epic scam" ...The Fight of the Century?

I think the fight is big because it will answer the simple question of who is better, Floyd or Manny? It mightn't live up to the hype, but we'll at least have an answer.

a lot hating in past couple of weeks from main news sits like cnn, yahoo and others. I've come across articles claiming this will not be worth it and it's a money scam. CNN had an article explaining how this is sold as evil vs good but Manny himself is no saint and lists all the things that make Manny a scoundrel. It then, of course, goes on to explain why Mayweather is even more of a scoundrel and vs Pac, he's a los life scum pretty much. Basically, the article makes the reader question 'Why give these two bad people' all this money.

I see where these people are coming from but this last minute attempt to dampen the hype is pathetic... don't start hating more just cause the event seems to be as big or bigger than initially expected.

 

People like this shouldn't be allowed to write about boxing. "An epic scam", ****ing moron.

 

the hypocrisy is what gets me. People who consider themselves religious and 'good' people hate the idea of giving Floyd $$, for entertainment purposes. Well, what's worst that religion itself? some of the worst atrocities in history have been committed in name of religion.

In he end, it's all hypocritical, even down to Pacquiao using faith and religion. Let people enjoy the fight and stop the hating... Who cares if Floyd makes his 120 million if the people paying for it and enjoying the event.

 

How is it a scam? So what if they were better 5 years ago? Guess what, 5 years later today, Floyd is still p4p #1 and Pac by most accounts is p4p #2.

Its a battle between the 2 current best in boxing, not just in their weight class but in all of boxing, and not just today, but of their generation.

These whiners are stupid.

 

A lot of fights have been scams, this is just another one. I'll still be watching on in fascination at the sight of Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao in the ring together, but I don't think it's that meaningful or will answer a lot of so called "questions".
