The night was a bit weird. Where was everyone sat? I bought tickets in the west stand and ended up on the pitch :huh I just stood up at the back though, floor seats are wank. It's like being at school assembly again everyone moving their heads around to see.
The dumbest fan I heard was some **** shouting for DeGale to '****ing hurry up, you're boring mate, get the real boxers out'. DeGale was the best performance for me except for Katsidis.
Then I went to the Sports Cafe in Piccadilly to watch Paulie, and what a ****ing let down. I hung around in there for 3 hours waiting, only for them to shut at 3am. I still haven't seen the fight, don't think I want to either :verysad

Why would you "rare up" at people around you for having the audacity to cheer the home fighter?

i was on the pitch, about 6-7 rows back from the ring, great view. Good night, really enjoyed it. Apart from the **** they pass off as beer in the ground. Still ain't got used to drinking that stuff yet despite having a season ticket at West Ham for years

i couldnt go in the end, ended up watching it down my local, me and me mates watchin it on the big screen although i was the only one going mad shouting and cheering for mitchell, cos the cup final was on earlier there was a ton of portsmouth fans out for the night laughing at me an tellin me to calm down, it really pissed me off plus mitchell losing so i decided to get wasted later on after about 7 pints i went an put about 8 enya songs on the jukebox the portsmouth fans werent happy. got home put the ortiz/cambell fight on an then woke with the khan fight already in the 4th round, **** night really.

Just in now. Unsurprisingly Katisidis was too much of an animal. Unlucky Mitchell, the lad would have given Khan a lot of trouble. No shame in getting a hiding off him, move on here.

P.S There was far too many Brits bigging him up. Mitchell is a good lad but he was out of his out of his depth, like or lump it, Amir Khan is better fighter by a country mile, Unlucky dude, you took on a beast and theres no shame in losing.

Well done to Kats, by far the superior fighter. Fair play for Mitchell for taking the fight, he'll always have my respect. :thumbsup

I was on the pitch and the view was fine, had a great time chatting with fighters. Had an 80 pound ticket but me uncle had a 150 one and was two rows further back than me

loved the abuse people got if they failed to sit down classic shout of the night was 'sit down you ****ing dry lunch' ****ed if I know what it means

PunchDrunkGench got me superb tickets, so a great prize for myself and my lady. I had a set of DeGale fans behind me. They were awful, with the screeching and such. But one did lay out a wonderful piece of advice that James had probably not considered:

"Just hit him, James - you need to punch him."

Shame for Kev, but he fought a dreadful fight tactically. Soon as he took that shot early in the third, the snap went from his punches, he stood right in front of Kats and then backed straight up into the ropes when he got hit again.

He looked out of his depth, something that I'd been thinking about since Friday morning when I was on the train down. I had this image in my head of Katsidis side-stepping to the left and right and Mitchell moving back rather than around him. Which, as it turned out, is pretty much what happened. Oh well.

Puts into perspective how good Juan Diaz was, both in chin and skills - he never gave Katsidis so many opportunities, had the inside game to keep Michael busy and, when he did get caught, he couldn't be shifted.
