What are you talking about? ... I've seen Cotto say that he wanted to fight Mayweather and that he thought that he could beat Mayweather. What was the difference between then and now?

The fact is that he was offered a fight in 05 after the Gatti fight and his team turned it down.

Floyd said that he would tap Cotto on the chin and knock him out.

Nothing is going to change ... between him being 23 and 27 ... his skill set is there and there isn't much room for improvement ... infact you can't tell me anything different from Cotto then to Cotto now.

How is that any different from PBF fighting Hernandez who was the champion at 130 ... undefeated at 130 ... only loss came to DLH at 135. yet PBF at the age of 21 - no title - no eliminators - no minor titles and PBF beat him.

Now if they thought anything about Cotto back then they wouldve made that fight happen immediately.

I feel what you are saying man...Honestly! I'm not sure one way or the other if Floyd is scared to take on Marg but turning down $8 Mill is NOT EASY!!! Even for Floyd.

I know boxers are very brave, they have to be to step in ring and risk their lives, but to be scared is something that many Top level or preforming boxers can't be. Marg for one I'm sure is never frightened when facing anyone they put in front of him. But I know boxing is a business as well and some fights don't make sense.

Floyd fighting Marg made sense to EVERYONE else but Floyd for whatever reason and I can't say if it was bc he was scared....since he is a great boxer and future ATG i have to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he was looking at this opportunity as a "RISKY" proposition and didnt want to risk loosing for the 1st time.

i do think Floyd has gone about his career in a calculated manner and it has severed him well.....but not without critisim. Floyd has and will always look out for his #1 which just so happens to be who else but himself?
