(Spin off of another thread) Doesnt mean he's good trainer. 1. Paul Williams 2. Kelly Pavlik 3. Andre Berto 4. Miguel Cotto I understand wanting to be loyal but damn! Sometimes you need more guidance than "double the ****in jab!" These guys trainers just rode their fighters talents to the top. Now i'm not saying the trainers are/were useless but they definitely didnt show they had what it took to make their fighter realize their full potential. These guys coulda been so much more if it wasnt for the narrow minded trainers and the loyalty. *In my UK voice* It's a shame really.
Now Sergio has a good trainer. If you listen to Sergio Martinez's trainer he actually gives instruction during the fight. Actual substance.
