Im not going to help fund Franks shitty match making no more, time and time again Boxnation has let me down, be it cancelled fights or shitty opponents for franks fighters. Before people accuse me of not being a proper boxing fan I would like to point out I gave the channel every possible chance and they have continuously ****ed me over and left me feeling I have been treated like a mug. I would wish you the best of luck in future but I'd be lying, I hope you fizzle out and die a slow and painful death. Thanks for nothing Frank, your Killing British Boxing. :finger :hi:
Ive just switched from Virgin to Sky. (I currently have BoxNation) As it stands right now, I do not plan on subscribing to BoxNation with Sky....
Im jsut moving from Sky to Virgin and the misses actualy asked me If I wanted boxnation...I still said no!!!
I still don't mind it too much. Yeah, it is in a way funding **** fights like this but it's still decent for some other fights like Lopez/Salido the other week. Hopkins/Dawson, Floyd/Cotto etc coming up. I couldn't care less if the channel folded tomorrow though.
It's a disgrace, I agree. BoxNation was billed as 'the saviour of British boxing, all for the price of a pint of beer' and instead, it's failed to deliver for months. Fighters aren't being paid, they're not being developed, the fans are constantly getting **** fights and the fans are expected to pay for that?! Bull****. I wanted BoxNation to do really well because it could have been something good for the sport. I would have loved to be proven wrong but, unfortunately, I think all my doubts are right. People can say "it's only a tenner" but I don't want to pay to contribute to something which is detrimental to the sport I love. FW needs BoxNation to put on more shows and collect money from fans who will buy tickets. There was never any intention to give the fighters what they need or give the fans what they want. The only person this serves is Frank and he'll continue to not pay his fighters and give fans atrocious fights.
It was a smart and ****ish move to sign sky customers up for 6 month, they knew that these match ups would not be tolerated by fans and many more would cancel given the choice.
for months iv seen some real good ideas on this forum on how boxnation can improve, but all we have got is more fights cancelled, more mis matches, there just isnt a big enough talent pool for this to take off and i cant see any way out for FW now, through being stubborn and arrogant FW has just about finished Boxnation off
