If I'm spending £10 a month, I still expect a service commensurate with what they promised I would get.

But I can't subscribe because there's no online option, I can't get Virgin where I live, and I won't ever give money to Murdoch's Sky empire.

I think it's just the PPV service, which was mortifyingly expensive. £15 for literally Vitali-Chisora. Not the full undercard, just that one fight.

I don't think the schedule is that bad. Mares and Moreno on 21st April, Hopkins/Dawson on 28th then mayweather card on 5th may. There will be times when it's lean and times when we're spoiled, it averages out.

The international fights are good, the fights involving the British fighters, ie Franks stable are dire, for me its not worth keeping as I can watch the odd international fights for free anyway. If Frank's not going to put his fighters in proper fights? Im not going pay a penny to help that.

If that changes I will re-subscribe.

For as long as they continue to show the big shows from Germany and the USA they will keep receiving my cash.
I never did care about watching a couple of fighters who's names I hardly recognize fight for some shitty British title.
Roll on Hopkins vs Dawson and Mares vs Morel.
I'm a little disappointed they never picked up Zab Judah's next fight.

Fair enough, therefore the channel wont appeal to British fans who want to see British fighters! and If your happy to pay weeks/ months at a time for nothing your exactly what Fwank is looking for, keep up the good work!

  8. That's my take.

It's a debt repayment vehicle, nothing more, nothing less. The quality of action hasn't increased, it's probably stayed much the same.

I won't pay £40 to watch Leeds play Championship football for the same reason. If Ken Bates wants to be a property developer, he should do it with his own money, not mine.

Im happy paying Sky or Virgin for Sports channels but not just to watch my favoutite boxer or football team or one indivudual sport, I want the option to watch all the sports which will include my favourites.

Lets be honest Ramp, if it was all British content you'd be in here whinging about the lack of foreign cards.

Just let people pay or not pay the measly tenner as they see fit instead trying to come across as a "better fan" for not paying it.

So how do you watch the big fights, since mostly they're on Sky?

I either watch at the pub, or at my sister's. If it's international, I can usually make other arrangements due to the stuff I freelance on.

Im not trying to come across as a better fan so dont try and make out I am, Im more a follower of british boxing than international / US.

I only really watch boxing if a british fighter is involved or it is a massive fight between the best in the division.
