Through 6 and a half rounds Joshua threw 396 punches by my count, maybe a bit out as it's hard to count when there's a fast exchange going on, but it's in the 380-400 range. That's more than Fury threw in 12 rounds against Wlad, and closing in on double what Klitschko threw in 12. Add to that the fact Joshua was loading up on lots of those shots and no wonder he was tired.

Nothing wrong with his conditioning IMO, needs to work on pacing himself. Never the less, it showed Joshua still holds big power even when he's punched himself out slightly.

He did a good job of pacing himself in the fourth and fifth round to catch his breath tho. Both fighter took a slight break but joshua came on top afterward.

Parker vs Meehan- 188 punches in 7 minutes.

Parker barely broke a sweat. Conditioning for fighting is different to conditioning for muscle building.

Joshua is in great shape, top power and conditioning. A true professional, hence the PED accusations.
I think boxing can appeal to nerds with no muscle mass who still like to think they're tough.

What on earth does that mean? you have central and peripheral adaptations, that means lungs/heart and muscle. Muscle conditioning is absolutely part of conditioning for fighting, do you use your muscles when you move?
Never have I seen someones physique so irrationally criticised. You can be muscular and have great conditioning. This isn't a marathon with 5'6 60kg guys, this is a heavyweight boxing match with 6'5+ 110kg+ guys. Joshua is in great shape for a heavyweight.

So I must have been tripping when listening to the commentators on TV mentioning that he was potentially too muscle bound, creating issues with conditioning. If he has such a iron jaw like some people are mentioning, why after 2 rounds was he puffing like an asthmatic, jaw hanging low? I have eyes and can see he looks good with his shirt off, but the fact is, if Whyte wasn't in poorer condition, he would have capitalised on round 2 to create a different outcome. The fanbase of Joshua will still be cheering their man, but the trailers would be working through a big list before the next fight.

Some...but when it's excessive it becomes counter productive!

Man these Parker huggers are ridic. They waited so long for a decent fighter they are now going ham. Reminds me of Mundine nut huggers who thought he was better than Calzaghe hahaha
