yep was in a car accident few years back got side swiped by some old ******* on a 70mph stretch, knocked me out cold, got a nice little pay out though
Got knocked out playing football. Was only out for a couple of seconds and non of my teammates noticed. They helped me up and congratulated me on a great hit. I stayed int he game for a couple more plays but I was just standing in one spot cause I was groggy. Finally someone noticed that I was messed up and sent me off. I was foggy for a half hour or so but then all of a sudden on the ride home it felt just like I woke up from a nap and I was fine. Never been out from boxing thoguh. Ony even been stunned twice and never went down.
I got somewhat concussed by a football hit one time. I felt slightly detached from reality. I couldn't remember what had happened the moment before. This happened at football practice on a day it started raining so we went into the gym. I couldn't remember coming to the gym so I would ask, "Weren't we just outside?" I also asked, "Did I take a hard hit today?" Never got any treatment and I was fine the next day.
I've had a handful of concussions and been knocked out a few times. I had a flash knockout boxing sparring a heavyweight slugger who caught me with a straight right at a funky angle and spun my head around. I didn't feel myself hit the ground and got bad tunnel vision but don't recall fully losing consciousness and was up and sparring again on instinct before i had my wits about me. This winter I was snowboarding and at some point on my last run of the season hit something so hard with my head it split my helmet clean down the back. I woke up in the care of ski patrol on the bottom of the mountain, they told me they found me unconscious rag dolling down the mountain and having a seizure from the impact. I'm trained as an EMT and have had enough concussions that once I was awake long enough to get past the "holy ****" phase i rolled with it and helped them more than they expected since I know the drill basically. It was my nearest death experience though and very surreal. I'm not sure what happened between A and B and only remember the top 100ish feet of the run before it gets hazy and blanks out. The headache was killer though since the hospital gave me no meds. I can elaborate on it more if anyone wants me to.
Well a few years ago during the 2001 match between England and Germany in which England won 5-1, I was walking home after the game, I got jumped by 5 England fans, one of which claimed I slept with his girlfriend (I'd never seen him before in my life) anyway he was being very aggressive and I remember saying 'Calm down mate, I think you have the wrong person' the next minute 'Smack" he hit me with what seemed like a left hook. It hit me flush on my right cheek bone and I do remember the white light, it happend so fast, he staggered me but I didn't go down lol. It took me a few seconds to wake up from it, I just remember the whole place spinning for about 4 seconds and then I was awake again. They then just walked off leaving me with a swollen cheek (like Ali had after FOTC). It didn't hurt, it was just total disorintation, but I was quite pleased with me self as I had had a few drinks before hand and I still didn't go down.
KO'd twice (neither time in boxing) First time I was walking through the wrong area at the wrong time and 3 guys tried to rob me. When they realised I wasn't giving up my **** they beat me up and took it anyway. Second time I was again in the wrong area and a friend got in an altercation. I helped out, then a few mins later we were out numbered about 5 to 1 and I was KO'd once, got up continued fighting, got KO'd again and woke up on the floor of the McDonalds we had been fighting in. Not my proudest moment. I've only KO'd one person when fighting, it was when I was 16 and I hit him in the back of the head as he walked away. Went straight down. Again, not proud of it.. but you live and learn. In the ring I have never knocked someone out cold but I have put people on the canvas. Mostly from bodyshots.. Getting KO'd you don't feel anything at all and the blows are very blunt. You know they are doing damage to your face but you don't really feel sharp pain or anything. Its just like turning on and off a light switch. The first time I was KO'd I believe the first shot that hit me was with a knuckle duster although I can't say for definite. I've been hit enough times to know how it feels and this felt different/wrong and i'm sure I heard a "ping" (the sound of metal hitting bone..?).. but you can never be sure of whats real and whats in your imagination when you have been KO'd.. its a weird experience.
This made me laugh a little, But good effort anyway bro! I fell down in my looe seeing colours n crap hit my head on the wall and was ko'ed for a slight moment, Got back up n felt a bit fussy for about 10 minutes,
Never in boxing, been hit once and my head kind of flashed and i was a bit groggy afterwards. Been knocked out in a car accident, hit a tree and then fell a few feet into a field, just remember a massive bang and then going out but when i fell into the field the crash into that rewoke me apparently which was pretty lucky because the car caught fire and burned out.
You fell down your loo, and got knocked out? I'd be a bit fussy with the toilet as well if that happened to me.
