    Give him a break....

It's Hatton mate.. He draws in thousands of casuals.. Where as Froch only really draws in hardcore boxing fans.. Hatton took like thousands to Vegas.. Where as Froch probably took a thousand to NJ ofr the super six final.

Thanks. Sorry if it was a silly question. But I have seen quite the fanatics for Froch here at ESB.

froch has trouble selling 9000 tickets in his hometown, hatton takes 20000 to vegas, froch is only known by the hardcore boxing fans which is a shame he should be a superstar by now, dont know what it is about him maybe not being promoted right by hennessy or maybe his general persona but he should be one of the biggest draws in world boxing right now. the only rival to hattons popularity in recent years was calzaghe, near 60,000 in cardiff.

it's a reflection of how thick the general public is that it's Hatton.

Froch, better fighter, better career, straight-up guy.

To take the discussion out of the UK, JCC snr, Kelly Pavlik? They had MASSIVE support wherever they went.

Hatton took more than 20,000 to Vegas, more like 35,000...the weigh in for the Mayweather fight was ****ing stupid, noise levels were stupid (I wasn't there, I have seen the videos), Froch? I don't know why he doesn't command the support Hatton does.

Think we can all relate to hatton mate, ive watch every froch fight and have nothing but massive respect for him but ive never really liked him mainly down to his attitude from calling out calzaghe when he was brit champ to every interview he gives always comes round to him talking about how awesome he is especially after the bute fight, hatton was always humble and respectfull a working class hero and it shows in the support he recieved throughout his carreer.

    Hatton by far.

Not many people know about Froch. Maybe he's big in Nottingham, I don't know.

You have to blame the promoters really.
But it's very hard to get known when most your best work is away from free TV. Hatton is almost unique in that regard. Even Calzaghe struggled with national recognition until he went on ITV and beat up Lacy.

    Hatton is on another level.

He's the everyman, the Rocky character and people just identify with him more than the sort of cold persona of Froch.

Plus the show that he brings is very fan friendly. Hatton would arrive in the ring to massive cheers looking like a pitbull about to be let off it's leash and from the first bell, off he would go bouncing on his toes in full attack mode, he'll take shots to get his work in and it's entertaining for people who don't usually pay much attention to the details of the sport.

He's an easy sell in this country.

I find it absolutely incredible you say that. Implying Hatton is humble and Froch is not? :patsch. I see the opposite. Hatton might tell us he's a down to earth man of the people, but that doesn't mean he is. Use your brain man.

To say the Ricky is not a man of the people is silly really.
