this is a really tough fight to call. martinez is obviously the more athletically talented, skilled boxer, but he's gonna be in there with a monster. kelly's going to walk him down every second of every round and throw a million power punches. i'm just interested to see how martinez handles it. if he can take the punishment and go the distance, i think he definitely wins a decision. that would really impress me. i'm just not sure how he's going to handle kelly.

Kelly didn't blast his way through the amateurs. He had to box. Indications are he has gotten some very good work with his sparring partners for this match and brought in a few guys that are probably the best he has ever used in training camp. Kelly has strong fundamentals and there are very few that can work around someone with strong fundamentals and I really don't see Martinez as being one of them.

Who didn't see this coming? Pavlik showed some grit in the middle rounds, but Martinez' speed proved to be too much for "The overrated Ghost"
