Canelo always had at least one judge scoring the fight to his favor.

I mean, you also cannot pretend that he is 27 either. Age matters in boxing. He is NOT shot at all. But he has slowed, that much is evident.

 

Canelo needs to remain at MW and take on the other guys to get any credit, even if he does beat GGG.

Look, whether you like it or not, Canelo's only non-controversial win against an undefeated fighter is Liam Smith.


Canelo's P4P status is based on beating shot legends, and controversial wins over opposition which are not viewed as 'Elite'.


When your best win is Liam Smith and you've failed 2 drug tests in your career......You're not a P4P great.
