Just dont say GGG was OLD/SHOT when Canelo DOMINATES him in the rematch...

If GGG is obviously shot in the fight then it is a valid criticism. We know how he looks against (roided) Canelo already. Canelo is the one who failed two tests and pushed the fight back 6 months, GGG can't just stop ageing in that time.

That said, nothing up to now makes me believe GGG is shot, I wouldn't call him prime either.

 

I won't have to say it because, as with the first fight, it's not going to happen (and if it does I will be the first to come back here and admit I was wrong.)

 

I had Canelo beating GGG, but the official record says it was a draw.

With that said, GGG's best win is Jacobs. Let that sink in.

 

The fact we're even arguing over whether or not his win over Trout was controversial is proving my point even further.....

A win over Trout shouldn't be 'relevant' for a P4P great.....Yet it's one of Canelo's best.


When Canelo fought Mayweather, even though Floyd was no longer considered Prime, Canelo was out the opposite end of the spectrum himself.

Failure to beat GGG is completely different. Canelo is the younger fighter, but this time he's also the guy who should be in his prime.


Trout/Lara/Smith are not victories worthy of P4P status if you ask me.
Especially when others had Trout, and more convincingly Lara, winning those fights.

 

Which is a better win than anything Canelo has.....

Liam Smith is the only convincing victory he has had against a prime fighter in his career.....And Smith is fringe world level at best.

Just a sec Andrew ? How do you really rate Canelo A class ? Ok he fought Floyd but got totally schooled. He arguably lost to both Lara & Trout. Everyone knows GGG beat him while he was obviously juiced too. Who has he convincingly beaten?? I STILL think he's 85 % hype myself

Still the general consensus is that Canelo is A class make of that what you will as he’s also recently been labelled as a power puncher as well lol.
