Its written by Paul Kent obviously from the recollection of Lewis. Got it for $20.

Had some pretty good stories in there, obviously you have to be cautious what you want to believe as I always second guess stuff like this.

I was definitely surprised by the pretty big claims made about Tszyu. Doesnt paint a pretty picture at all.

Used to think the sun shone out of Johnny butt years ago. But these days he leaves me cold TBH.

Didn't realise he had a book out so had a look on Google for further details:

Apparently it was only released a couple of months ago. Here's the speel from the booksite:

It was the night Jeff Harding came back to the corner at the end of the eleventh, behind on all three judges' cards and bleeding around both eyes, his nose long broken. As Lewis cleaned the cuts he quickly poured everything that was important into his ear. Then he picked him up from his stool with one last instruction: 'Go out and come back champion of the world ...'

Over the past thirty years Johnny Lewis has trained six world champions, among them some of the greatest names in the sport; Jeff Fenech, Kostya Tszyu and, yes, Jeff Harding. Yet he is known for much more than that. For a wisdom that stems from his childhood growing up in Erskineville, where he mixed with hustlers and hard men and, in his words, never met a bad bloke.

Now, in his authorised biography, we learn why Johnny Lewis is not only Australia's greatest ever fight trainer, but why he is a winner, and why those around him are winners.

Why his lessons of the gym hold true outside the ring.

Just purchased the book, it must be double prices for us country folk, cost me 40$ but its got a 1 of the top 50 books that you cant put down ratings so it should be a good read! browsing through the book i noticed in the colour photos section what appears to be a guy standing on the left about to glass someone at a press confrence, any idea which camp this guy is from?

Accused Tszyu of ripping him off nearly a million in trainers fees.

Got the point across that Kostya thought he 'owned' you if he paid you.

Stories like Tszyu speaking badly to people and ignoring Johnnys training advice.

Lying to Johnny more than once about the money even when caught on, finally agreeing to pay but still coming up short.

Some other stuff, I cant give the whole story in the way it should be put across, I would suggest grabbing the book.

ripping off unfortunately comes often in boxing, too many cases of money causing problems in relationships!

Didnt realise this even existed. Will have to pick it up even though Johnny seems to be going a little senile these days.
