What a remarkable guy he is. Brilliant read if anyone gets the chance. I got shivers when I read the part about the boxer that died from head injury and such tragedy within his family. If there was only more guys like him in the boxing industry more guys might take up the sport.

The one thing about Eastwood's book 'Hooked on the Jab' that I thought was incredibly bitter was that there was probably no more than half a page devoted to the tragic loss of Ali after he fought McGuigan and even then it was just a skimming over of what happened - very cold. That was a massive part of McGuigan's story and he was his manager.
I have McGuigan's book but havent got around to reading it yet.

I read one of Barrys books, truly pants.

Was all about his life etc and how he came to be who he was (the stuff i like) yadayada but this just didnt do him justice.

Forgot the title/writer.....but its got a shocking pic of a young Barry with a truly mental jumper on.

Think i sent Mandz the pic.......whilst in shock.

Anyways, i need a new book.

    Am thinking Mexican this time...
