Excellent movie. Some of it is really heart breaking, but all of the guys in it really appreciated their fights with Ali and what it meant to their careers and lives.
I felt bad for Chuvalo the way he lost most of his family tragically. Great movie btw. You can see the admiration they had for Ali just by giving them a chance to fight especially Lyle and Norton. P.S. Leon Spinks has to be related to the Mayweathers.........
Yeah, all of the guys seemed to have some tragic parts to their lives. I always feel bad for Holmes having to fight and beat up Ali.
By the end he was saying some very nice things about Ali. Although I do believe he still holds that grudge.
Ali crossed the line with Smokin' Joe. I don't blame him for not bowing down to Ali's greatness like everyone else.
$$$$$$$$$$ made him say that mate. If you watch the Thrilla in Manila documentary he is bitter towards him, really bitter.
hmm says . . . loved the quotes in the movie... "we can speak for him" was the best way to end the movie...
In a way it's good that we have Frazier still holding that grudge. Him not going the popular way of idolizing Ali gives the Thrilla in Manila so much more weight and meaning.
Frazier really was a sensitive cat. All these years later and he is still teary eyed over the verbal stuff Ali dished out. Great movie too gives the perspective of some legends
