Just finshed watching Leonard vs hagler documentary.....

He didn't have to retire he chose to retire, the doctors had assured him that his sight would be ok.

He'd had a number of behind closed-doors-fights (nearly getting virtually Ko'd in one of them) in year he took to train for the Halger fight.

And this whole layoff, we just don't know how that effected his body, it's not the case that all bodies will the respond the same to that sort of layoff.

We'd all agree that they were both past it, but it's nowhere near certain that Leonard was the more advanced.
