It seemed to me, he had no problems wiping out a top 10 MMA HW.

 

It seems to me that a bum had no problem doing what a ranked fighter couldn't. Hmmm , i wonder why ? Maybe it's because the said ranked fighter was dumb enough to try beating a boxer at his own game.

even the bum that is kimbo slice had the presence of mind to shoot for the legs. Sylvia didn't. No wonder he got owned. My point still stands. You have no argument. You still haven't responded to all my points by the way.

Mayweather would get owned by a bum , if the said bum would take the guy down. You don't even need a ranked fighter to get the job done. Ironically , a ranked fighter couln't do it this time. But it's no surprise since Sylvia wanted to finish Mercer by KO.

You're obviously not gonna play a boxer's game and play to his advantage. That's what Sylvia originally was planning to do.

The bum you mentioned said he was going to stand and trade with Mercer. In fact, Mercer was under the impression, he was going to essentially box with 4oz gloves on. I'm not saying what Kimbo did was wrong, it was obviously the right strategy that Bas/Kimbo employed. But if Kimbo is going to talk the talk against a 48 year old, he should've walked the walk and tried to stand with him. He didnt.

Within 5 seconds, Kimbo shot for a leg against a fighter who thought was going to stand and bang and than collect a paycheque.

And like I said, to think Mayweather would get taken down by a bum is outrageous and illogical. And to be honest, I havent read your response, I might check it out but were just going back and forth spewing the same points.

The bottom line is, a 48 year old Mercer just wiped out a top 10 HW and former UFC champion more impressively than any other MMA'er has done.

And I mentioned earlier, a boxer always has a chance to beat ANYBODY in MMA, an MMA'er has ABSOLUTELY no chance to beat an elite fighter in boxing.

And in regards to Mercer, I just thought it was hilarious and a great KO from a finished, shot, past his prime fighter. And considering how they tried to screw Mercer and how much of a ***** Sylvia was, it looks great on them and MMA for trying to make a quick buck off guys like Mercer who shouldnt be fighting. What goes around, comes around...and boy did it come around this time.

I guess, street fighting >>> boxing >>> MMA.
